Practice Areas: Construction Law, Health, and Insurance Defence

Bio: Michael’s litigation practice focuses primarily on a variety of construction claims, including assisting engineers with complex multi-party construction disputes. Michael also defends health professionals in malpractice claims and professional disciplinary proceedings, in addition to assisting clients in a wide variety of other civil and administrative matters. Michael’s practice is grounded in a commitment to providing clients with efficient and practical solutions.

Michael joined GibbsLaw LLP in 2024 after being called to the Ontario Bar. Prior to joining GibbsLaw LLP, Michael completed his articles at a boutique insurance defence firm in Toronto. During his articles, Michael acquired foundational experience with all aspects of the civil litigation process to develop the core skills of a reasoned litigator.
