Charlotte Freeman-Shaw

Bio: Charlotte primarily defends engineers in a variety of complex, multi-party construction claims. Her practice includes both traditional litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including technical education meetings and mediation. Charlotte especially enjoys developing creative strategies to help her clients navigate disputes in a cost-effective manner. Charlotte regularly appears before Judges, Masters and Justices of the Peace in the Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Justice.

Charlotte joined Gibbs & Associates in 2014 after being called to the Ontario Bar. Prior to joining Gibbs & Associates, Charlotte completed her articles at a prominent Niagara law firm. During her articles, Charlotte was exposed to a wide range of civil litigation and insurance defence work and frequently appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, Ontario Court of Justice and Small Claims Court.
